Lead Apostle Saa Marc Leno used this text word on Wednesday 14th October 2026, for the midweek service at Goderich congregation, West of Freetown, Sierra Leone,  starting from 5pm. The Lead Apostle  and Apostle Braima Saffa were welcomed by some congregation women, with local gospel songs and children with a bouquet of flowers, basket of fruits and nice speeches.

Lead Apostle Leno brought many instances in the Bible where God sent His angels to bring messages to the those who trust in Him, to strengthen, comfort, help, encourage, rescue, inspire them etc. One should always be conscious to receive such messengers of God, which bring insights via visions and dreams. God would also send human beings in the form of angels and we should accept them without reservation.

Core Thoughts:

• That there is a promise of angelic protection for those who abide with God;
• God orders His angels to guard us in all the ways of obedience ;
• We should not be afraid because of the assurance that God watches over us - with confident faith, not reckless testing;
• We count on His ultimate and complete deliverance from trails to victory, like in the case of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

District Rector of Lumpa, East of Freetown, District Evangelist Emmanuel Saffa Musa, Deputy District Rector, Priest Samuel Bockarie, Kissy, East of Freetown and Apostle Saffa served along. They reminded all about many examples and illustrations how angels serve human beings  from old, even today. The congregation was so happy to have the Lead Apostle for the first time in their Goderich (where God-reached…) congregation and so prepared lot of gifts for him. The Lead Apostle receive gifts from representatives of Sunday school children, the youth, men, women  and the ministers. Around 250 members were in attendance.

This sermon really inspired the congregants the ways angels are useful in our work of faith.
