Retired District Elder Wolfgang Oehler, the adviser of Jeorg Wolff Foundation / Humanactiv and Apostle Braima Saffa, recently visited some New Apostolic Church NAC Schools amongst the about 50 schools in the country.
The following schools were visited:
- Mahera-Lungui – dedication of a secondary school
- Congotown in Makeni, dedication of waterwell
- Koakoiyima in Koidu, Kono district – dedication of a secondary school
- Kailahun – inspection of water well
- Gandorhun in Kenema district – school and water well dedication
- Meima and Bo Reservation - schools and well inspection – Bo district
- Morwagor in Mattru – Bonthe District, was to inspect the school
- Schools / water wells inspection in Taninihun, Mokorewa, Moyamba Junction, in Moyamba district
- In Lumpa East of Freetown – Senior Secondary school and pilot washalot were dedicated
- Tokeh school (award of scholarship to some pupils), West of Freetown.
At the end of this visit, they held meeting with the schools and Teacher Training Scholarship TTS committee in Freetown; to discuss modalities to man the schools by regular inspections of facilities, schools and teachers approvals by the government via the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education MBSSSE
The visits were always associated with joyful moments - welcoming and appreciation of guests with singing/dancing, matching, talent shows of students etc. The school parents, pupils, teachers and community members are greatful to the chuch and the foundation for providing schooling facilities for the development of their children and community at large.
