New Apostolic Youths country-wide converged to Koidu city, East of Sierra Leone for a National Convention; with the theme – It is time to do good -. It stresses on doing good persistently as a priority of showing active love and a call for intentional kindness with the hope of God’s eternal reward.

The youth weekend happened at the Thomas Saquee Resource Centre, close to New Apostolic Church / School at Koakoyima township. This was organized by youth leaders of the four Apostles working areas - NAYFEL – New Apostolic Youth Fellowship - led by Priest William B M Sao-Lamin and Evangelist Patrick F Mansary.

Friday, the 28th November, 2025
Registration of arriving youths from 5 pm, who were orientated to the facilities. At 8 pm, Ap. Kargbo welcomed all, in which he briefed on the statistics/geography of Koni district. He introduced key stake-holders of the chiefdoms/Apostolic districts; the purpose of youth fellowship - outreach/evangelism was done by Ap. Saffa and Priest Sao-Lamin; Apostle Saidu gave the spiritual edification with a text word from Ecclesiastes 12:1 – Remember now your creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say “I have not pleasure in them” – a call, warning, instruction and command, to implement now; referencing – Joseph, Jeremiah, Daniel and Mary the mother of Jesus etc., as examples to emulate. This was followed by talents shows, drama, gospel music / songs.

Saturday, the 29th November, 2025
Members / youths matched about 10 Km, from the central church at Main Kainkordu Road via central of the city to the convention centre. Apostles working areas were identified by coloured T-Shirts: Brown colour for Apostle Kargbo, White for Ap. Saffa, Orange – Ap. Saidu and grey Ap. Bangura respectively.

At 2 pm, all participants gathered in the hall for presentation on selected topics for doctrine/Bible knowledge on: Catechism of NAC/Questions and Answer by Ap. Saidu, Engagement/wedding blessing by Ap. Saffa, quiz by Ap. Bangura and the New Apostolic Hymnal by Ap. Kargbo.

This was followed by football matches of teams from the Apostle areas. At night, there was a presentation by Priest Sannoh on university (tertiary institutions), entry requirement and the Jeorg Wolff Foundation scholarship. This was followed by musical night – choir competition, where youths displayed their talents, comedy, singing, dancing etc.

Sunday, the 30th November 2025
The divine service started at 10 am and the youth service at 12 pm. Ap. Kargbo conducted the first Sunday of advent service and text was out of Isaiah 60:2-3 – For behold the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. An admonishment to be sensitive to the light – Jesus – to shine over the dark world. All should be reflectors of the Light. Assisted were Apostles Saffa, Saidu and Bangura. The attendance was over 2000

For the youth service which followed was conducted by Ap. Saffa and read Genesis 3:9 – Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “where are you?” The Apostle cautions the youths to position themselves clearly in the sight of God, obey His instructions so as to be in permanent fellowship with Him. Knowing that sin can separate us from God’s blessings. Youth Leaders: Priests Joseph Tamba Koroma, Sao Lamin, Samuel Bockarie; Evangelists Patrick Mansaray and Amidu Conteh served along. The participants were about 850.

It was topped with the notion of joyfully doing/being good all the times, to the glory of God.
