Handing washing and water fetching at Goderich
27 November 2025

How a simple act of providing clean, safe and pure water creates waves of positive change in the life of the beneficiaries.

Children/women walking miles to fetch clean water is to avoid Waterborne diseases from contaminated sources. This problem has kept children out of school and parents from work, trapping communities in a form of poverty.

The provision of pure water/wash facilities by the Church/Jeorge Wolff (JW) Foundation in our school and church communities has helped to maintain their dignity, health, and economic opportunity.

The Goderich congregation in Freetown, on Thanksgiving Day 2025, commissioned a wash facility for the church and its Bush Water community which have been in need for safe drinking water.  Apostle Braima Saffa and the district Leaders – Evangelist Sesay Benson A, and Priest Sannoh Kenawah A, were present to grace the occasion.

Some members brought food and drinks to share with one another joyfully, accompanied by gospel songs/music. This act of doing good by providing water, food etc, creates a positive effect; supporting communities to build its own future - One safe drink at a time...
