Lead Apostle Saa Marc Leno did his second Salone visit in February 2025; in preparation of the District Apostle visit.

Marjay-town in Freetown
On the 16th February, 2025, Ministers lined up to welcome the Lead Apostle Leno and Apostle Braima Saffa to Marjay-town congregation. This was followed by Sunday school children singing and a welcome statement. The service started at 10 am. Text word - Ezekiel 37:25:They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.”

Some remarkable thoughts of the sermon were;

  • God's promise to restore His people to their homeland and fulfill His covenant.
  • God’s extended promise to future generations, signifying stability and hope for the future glory in His everlasting Kingdom

This brings us a reminder of God's faithfulness and the eternal nature of His plans of salvation. Over 300 attended; Priest Morie Vandi, District Rector of East-Kissy and Priest Christopherson Samuel Nicol – Rector of Goderich, were called to serve in the same light.

Divine Service for Ministers and Wives
At 4pm of the same day Lead Apostle conducted Ministers and wives service at Central church in Freetown.

Romans 15:13; 15-17 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. To be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.”

Key hints from the sermon:

  • Like Apostle Paul, church ministers should understand and hold on their special mission and purpose in ministry.
  • The Ministry should always circle around Jesus Christ and sharing His Gospel with others, especially those who may feel excluded or distant from God.
  • True transformation and acceptance by God come through His Spirit, not our human efforts alone.
  • Ministers are called to lead others in offering their lives to God as living sacrifices, which involves guiding them in holiness and spiritual growth.

Paul’s example is a reminder of the humility, dedication, and reliance on divine guidance that are essential for ministry. Apostle Braima Saffa and Priest Abdulai Kenawah Sannoh – Deputy District Rector of Freetown West Central served along. The Lead Apostle encouraged all to support the blessed work of God. He announced the visit of the District Apostle later in the year.
