Goderich choir nine lessons and carol service at their church, in the west of Freetown

The start of December is always associated with the joy of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ’s birth. Some people travel from the capital to the interioir to spend the holiday with their relatives/loved ones. Goderich, like other congregations in Freetown, would organise nice musical fellowship.

On the 7th of December, 2024 was the nine lessons and carol service. The Goderich choir rendered melodious songs / hymns, accompnied with brass / other instruments. This brought extreme happiness and blessed thoughts to the participants. At intervals, we listened to bible passages and Christmas carol, about the history and circumstances of the mission of Jesus Christ to save the world.

What was again remarkable was the combination of colours in the dress of the carol singers and let alone the father christmas hats they put on.
Apostle Braima Saffa and Abu Tamba Bangura were there to grace to occasion.

Indeed, it was a nice beginning of the Christmas season.
