Adoring God, fellowship with one another, evangelize, learn more about the NAC doctrine for salvation; the District Youth Convention and Fellowship took place at the Karl Khunle Memorial High School, Tissor, Kenema City, Kenema District for three days.
The occasion started on Friday, the 29thNovember, 2024 with the arrival of guests and a football match.
On the 30th November 2024, there was a match-pass with all the New Apostolic districts in Kenema political district. They were represented in their colours: Ken-Nongowa in grey colour, Ken-Tongo in blue, Ken-Malegohun in orange colour, Ken-Lower Bambara in pink, Ken-Tonkia in mauve and the students of Karl Kuhnle Memorial High School (named after the late District Apostle Karl Khunle), were in their school uniform.
There was drama performances titled: “Respect and Obey Your Parents”; “Humbleness” etc.
For third day of the convention, a combined youth service was conducted by Apostle Saidu Bob Freeman. He used a text from 1 Timothy 4:6-16 - …Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Apostle Saidu encouraged the youths to conduct themselves in love and not to neglect the talents in them. He advised the youths that as future leaders, they have to be vigilant and acquire the prerequisite competence. He was assisted by Del Vincent Lippo, who referred to youths as seeds that should be nurtured to grow well. The second assistant Del Alfre Moinina Saidu also cautioned the youths to be patient, obedient and hardworking for sustainable development spiritually and socially.
