In a combined divine service at Kissy congregation, East of Freetown, the new Lead Apostle Saa Marc Leno has been welcomed joyously by members in Freetown, Salone (Sierra Leone).

Lead Apostle Saa Marc Léno was assigned as first black Lead Apostle on the 16th of June 2024 in Conakry by District Apostle. Michael Ehrich; to replace the former Lead Apostle Hans-Jurgen Bauer. He is now reponsible for West African 1 comprising Sierra Leone, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire and Liberia. Apostle Leno was formerly one of the Apostles based in Conakry, Guinea and Country Administrator for several years.

Expressing  the joy he has to visit Sierra Leone he stated ‚‘‘I am your son and brother and glad to be with you for God’s words and forgiveness of sin‘‘

Text: Romans 5:19 - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. Core thoughts:

Adam’s disobedience of God’s commandment brought curse upon mankind.

By one we are sinners and another justified. Adam and Eve had all in the garden but thought that God wasn't truthful to stop them not to eat the forbidden fruit. Adam blamed the woman; she blamed Satan but the snake noted their anxiety to eat. God cursed them all

However, being a merciful God, sent Jesus to manifest obedience to Him. Jesus was tempted trice but overcame Satan.

Satan brings lot of things to us. If we act like Adam we will be foolled but in Jesus we won't obey Satan. It is nice that we come to church for our parents, nice choir, meet friends etc., but more so for our salvation.

West Africa especially Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia together suffered from war, ebola and corona. Many loved ones died physically but are spiritually living. The soul lives either in heaven or hell. Adam was going to live eternally like a seed dies and germinate into seedling, to plant, bear fruits and into seed again. We experience physical dead because of disobedience. Let's ask for God's will to accompany us and alway forgive the neighbours like Jesus.

God has no bad plan for mandkind but we suffer because of sin. He does not abandoned His own. Let’s pray and rely on the power God would manifest through us like Elijah. We live by grace but our works also counts; so let’s obey God, our doctrine, parents, Apostle / Ministers, leaders and elders in all righteousness.

Apostle Saidu: Welcomed the Lead Apostle and wished his French was as good as his English. He thought of an academic memory lane - theory of Karl Marx (Dislectical materialism) – that opposition exists in life: hungry or full, beautiful or ugly, happy or sad and obedience or disobedience. Adam‘s disobedience has affected humanity to be victim of circumstance - from weakness of our first father but hope in Jesus leads us to complete redemption. Let's correct our situation not to rebel like Adam but get the nature of Jesus.

Apostle Saffa: Adam and Eve told God they were naked. Sin means nakedness, exposing us to many things. God's plan is good for us. We need to always come back to Him for inheritance of heaven. Deut 28:1-3 mention the reward for obedience – God’s tremendous blessings. God wants to grant us peace, love and salvation.

The Lead Apostle had meetings afer the service with ministers about their sanctification and later with the district ministers on administration of their working areas.
