Part of the Northern Province of Sierra Leone is the working area of Apostle Abu Tamba Bangura. He has been visiting many congregations for better acquaintance of the terrain.

The Apostle (Ap) firstly conducted a youth conference at the Central church of Makeni, Bombali District. The conference attracted youths of congregations in the municipality of Makeni and the outskirt. The theme was – Building the capacity of the youth for the future of the church.

The Chairman, Shepherd Kamara Albert Gbanka remarked that youths must develop the habit of humility, career path and mentorship from church leaders; the notion of business entrepreneurship to become self-reliance and be ready to take responsibility of their communities.

The Guest Speaker, Mrs. Emilia Gengo, spoke on drug abuse menacing the life youths. There was a presentation on Agricultural Innovation and Food habit by Community Evangelist (Cev) Turay John James.

In another development, Ap. Bangura had a youth service in Congo town, Makeni and used the text Word: I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth – Psalm 121:1-2. Christians should put God first and focus on Jesus the mediator and advocate of salvation. We count on His mercy and grace. The worship of idols/witchcraft and putting charms, amulet etc., on the bodies have no effect on salvation. Cev Tarawalie Joseph, Cev. Conteh Amidu and Cev. John James Turay assisted.

In Kabala the Apostle held the service on the 10th September, 2023 on the theme “My reward”. Revelation 22:12: “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. He admonishes all to prepare for the eminent return of Christ. Cev Tarawalie Joseph, Shepherd Albert Gbanka Kamara and District Evangelist Sesay Denis served along.

The Apostle continued the missionary tour to the Central church in Magburaka, Tonkolili district. He had a Youth Service on the 27th September 2023 and read from Psalms 95:1-3 - Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.

Youth Service in Masuba, Makeni was on the 30th September 2023 with the theme - Work with God in your youthful age - Psalms 119:9 - How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. He gave take home scriptures to the youths from Ecclesiastes11:9, 12:1.

Finally and amidst others, Ap. Bangura ended his divine tour with another youth service at Congo town Makeni on Saturday, on the 11th November, 2023 in preparation for the national youth convention in mile 91. He read from Matthew 6:33. - But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added onto you. He admonishes the youth to make the right choice in life. Topmost proirity is God, family, job, fun and what have you...

Priest Caulker Alfred, Deacon (Dc)Turay, Dc. Kamara John, and Dc Koroma Mohamed Paul were called to serve along.

It was a divine mandate tour of Ap. Bangura in 2023 to the glory of God.
