On Sunday, 24th of April, 2022, Apostle Sanpha Sesay (now retired), conducted a divine service in the central church of Koidu, Kono district at 10 am. It was to support Apostle Thaimu Kargbo; who was in Accra, Ghana for medication.

Text word: 1 Peter 3:15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;”

He extended warm greetings from Lead Apostle Hans-Jürgen Bauer and Apostle Thaimu Kargbo.

The following were core thoughts of the sermon;

  • The good heart helps to make good decision in following Jesus faithfully; irrespective of the trials, with reference to Cane and Abel;
  • Every divine service helps in the sanctification of our body, soul and spirit;
  • The word of God is source of power to overcome evil as Christ is the source of our strength;
  • Our hope is salvation through Christ and eternal fellowship with God.

Bishop Ramond Essequi serving along encourages all to sanctify the heart whilst alive and that Christians are the flock of Jesus, the good shepherd of our souls.

56 souls were sealed, 13 priests and 17 deacons ordained from different congregations across the district, with an attendance of about 754 participants.

It was really a day of dedicating the hearts.
