This seminar was meant to introduce the new brochures for confirmation teachers “I also want to…” and volume 2 of Sunday School “Come Lord Jesus!”
At the beginning of the seminar he read the same text of the previous seminars, taking from Genesis 11: 4 – 7 for divine thoughts of the seminar agenda and it reads:
“And they said, “Come, let us build our selves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth,”
But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

He admonished not to make self name or glory for whatever we do in the sight of God. “Let us always have God in it because the praise/glory of our actions on earth belongs to God; He gives strength/ability and everything we need to achieve our goal lest we shall be confused and fail in our endeavours” he concluded by praying for God to grant us the spirit of working to the glory of God – not like the city/tower builders who wanted to make name for themselves and failed woefully.
Apostle Garber presented lessons on the definition and consequences of confirmation and the qualities of a confirmation teacher.
Priest Sannoh, a senior seminar tutor, thought on the perception and development of a confirmand and how the classes can help integrate/orientate them into real Christian life as they take spiritual responsibility from their parents. He also presented the new didactics/methods/techniques in teaching relative to the content, preparation and presentation of the lessons etc.
Bishop Sesay presented the structure of the Sunday school pamphlet volume 2. He later grouped the participants into groups in order to prepare and present topics from the new booklets of confirmation and Sunday school classes.
The participants in turn did a very nice micro teaching according to the new didactics and were appreciated /corrected by the seminar facilitators. They were however commissioned to conduct similar seminars for Sunday school and confirmation teachers in their respective apostolic districts.
At the end, seminar materials: seminar booklets, Sunday school calendars Volume 2 etc were distributed to the participants for the congregations in the districts.
