For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord - Roman 6:23; Blessed are those who mourn; for they shall be comforted - Matthew 5:4.
Words of comfort for the family members, brothers and sisters of New Apostolic Church congregations of Conakry, Guinea, mourning the irreparable lose of Sister Agnes Tity Saffa. She was laid to rest on the 2nd November, 2017 at 11h00, Conakry central church.
Agnes was 43, married to District Elder Braima Saffa (Sierra Leoneans), with 5 children. Elder Saffa is the District Rector of Conakry and Sister Saffa was working in the New Apostolic Administration office in Conakry as Account Clerk. They settled in Guinea since the Sierra Leone rebel war.
She took active part in the organization of church activities. She was labeled as faithful, hardworking and virtuous woman. The choristers cried for her as most referred to her as their choir mother. Her mother, three brothers and one sister came from Freetown to give the last respect to the gone soul.
Many sorrowful songs were composed by the Conakry joint choir, which were sung during the wake keeping and the funeral service.
Apostle Saa Marc Leno consoled the family with the statements from 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work"
He encouraged all to be faithful and work hard to prepare our souls for the great day of the Lord; about 845 attended the funeral.
