Apostle Garber taking over from Apostle Kargbo
9 April 2018

Apostle Thaimu Kargbo is bided farewell and Apostle Albert Garber is welcomed to Kenema.

The Apostle working areas in Sierra Leone changed automatically when the fourth Apostle was recently ordained. Apostle Garber is to take over Kenema district from Apostle Kargbo, who had worked fervently in the district for about four years. Kenema is regional city – Head quarter of the Eastern province of Sierra Leone.

In the farewell ceremony organized after the Palm Sunday service on the 25th March, 2018 at 2:00 PM, the five district rectors (apostolic districts), youth leader, choir etc made statements praising Apostle Kargbo with some pointers on: the approval of the church school, youth empowerment, construction of churches, and renovation of Kenema central church amongst others.

They heartily welcomed Apostle Garber, who was once their Bishop and asked to take into account the good work of his predecessor and do more.

It all ended in a send-off party – fellowship.

Acts 2: 42 “And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers”
