Youth in Forest Compound group photo

Youths of Central West District of Freetown recently had a youth service with Apostle Braima Saffa and Bishop Yemeh Sesay. It took place on the 27th May 2018, at around 1:00 PM.

Forest Compound is in the outskirt of Freetown along the Peninsula road. This village normally hosts Forest Guards to protect the reserved forest around Freetown. The church is a small pan-body (of zinc) / makeshift structure; so the service took place in a nearby school.

The Apostle taught the youth traditional sources of knowledge such as practicing, observing, feeling, reasoning etc and encouraged youths to use them in the work of the Lord. The Apostle also advised to always pray meaningfully and faithfully.

1 Corinthian 14:15 was used - “What is the result then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding”.

Further reference was made to John 4:22-24
“You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship… God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth”

About 82 merrily participated in the service and deeply contemplated on the nature of the forest overlooking the Atlantic ocean of the River Number 2 Beach. What a very nice excursion to the Forest.
