Hungry relief targeting hard to reach poor communities in Sierra Leone
The Jorg Wolff Foundation with the New Apostolic Church Sierra Leone undertook a nationwide distribution of food and non-food items to poor communities in Sierra Leone.
The distribution team comprising the Apostles and District Ministers of the respective working areas, together with Priest Nyandemoh Charles and Priest Abdulai K. Sannoh of the Admin office.
It started from April 8, 2019 and areas visited were: Mano (by the sea) in Moyamba district, Gbondapi in Bo district – southern Sierra Leone, the blind and amputees in the outskirts of Kenema city, Dia – Kissy teng chiefdom of Kailahun district, Jaiama Sewafeh of Kono district – East of Sierrra Leone, the blind school and amputee camp in the outskirt of Makeni city and finally the distribution ended in Kamassassa of Kambia district – northern Sierra Leone.
The beneficiaries appreciated the humanitarian gesture of the foundation and the church. They thanked and appreciated the kindness extended to them; some of them for the very first time and prayed to God to continue to shower His blessing on the generous givers.
