Children display their talent after a divine service

“We have got a talent to use it for the Lord, if we do not use it, we will surely loose it; we have got a talent to use it for the Lord” (a local song in Sierra Leone), in line with Matthew 25:15-30 The Parable of the Talents.

The children came together in Central church of Freetown from various congregations for the service. It was on the 15th June, 2019, an eve to the June 16 celebration of the day of the African child.

Topics like the Lord’s prayer, ten commandments, articles of faith, 23rd Psalm, memorial Bible verses etc were recited by either Sunday school or confirmation children in a competition amongst the congregations. They displayed their talents for the education and amusement of all the children and parents present for the service and the show.

Apostle Braima Saffa conducted the divine service and read a text word out of
1st Thessalonians 5:5You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness” He admonished that inasmuch as we are all children of God and friends of Jesus, we should shine as light to bring peace and love to others.

When the service and show ended (the indoor program), the children were taken for a site seeing round the Lumley beach and Peninsular of Freetown.
All enjoyed the funs and talents of the kids.
