Bishop Yemeh Sesay Ends Ministerial Service
Retirement!
On the 11th September 2019, Bishop Yemeh Sesay; who has served in various ministries was retired. The Leading Apostle Hans-Jurgen Bauer with Apostle of Guinea Saa Marc Leno, Sierra Leone Apostles Sanpha Sesay, Albert Garber, Thaimu Kargbo, Braima Saffa and Bishop Raymond Essequi, together with some ministers and choristers in Freetown had the retirement service in his Goderich residence, at 3 pm.
A text word of encouragement was from Matthew 25:14-21 ``… well done thou good and faithful servant… enter now unto the joy of your Lord´´
Apostle Bauer encouraged him to remain faithful to the Lord even when his health was not good. Apostles Garber and Saffa, with whom Bishop had worked, made reflections of how assiduous Bishop Sesay was in his service to the Lord, (emotional moments!).
Divine Service in Freetown!
At 6 pm in the evening, a divine service was conducted by Apostle Bauer at the Central church of Freetown and he read a text out of Luke 14:16-17.
This was an invitation the Apostle sent to all to come to the service of the Lord as all was prepared to the glory of the Lord.
At the end of the service Apostle Saffa read the biography of Bishop Yemeh Sesay after informing the congregation about his retirement.
In a brief meeting with ministers present, Lead Apostle Bauer encouraged all to implement the teaching of children in Sunday school and confirmation lessons – the future generation.
