Counting on the grace of the Triune God
It has been exciting to get the online divine service from Apostle Benjamin Ohene Saffo of Ghana. It was on Sunday the 7th June 2020, at 9 am.
In 2nd Corinthian 13:14, he read. `The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen’.
Firstly, the love of God cannot be measured with any other love. He continued to love Adam and Eve after sinning. Though we sin, God gives us the chance to be close to Him.
Secondly, the grace of Jesus makes us Christians. God allowed His son Jesus to die to open the way to the father. By virtue of His death, we will have the ability to resurrect like Him. By the power given to the Apostles, we have our sins forgiven in divine service.
Thirdly, the communion of the holy spirit is to bind us together, remind us Christ`s teachings; in an effort to maintain the doctrine. We can’t allow anything influence us to change the doctrine but to let the Holy Spirit lead us.
Let the events of this world not take away our focus from God. The love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, of which love we should extend to our neighbors.
Apostle Richard Osei Senyo assisted in the same vein. He reminded us how we faithfully share the grace in our fellowship and its pronouncement in every divine service, together with reference of it in Holy acts.
Let the grace, love and communion of the Triune God remain with us!
