Priest Charles Aiah Saidu Nyandemoh incredibly died Monday morning, 27th July, 2020 – Rest in Perpetual Peace!

It has been a big shock, devastating and unbelievable news for family members, the church particularly Lumley congregation, the regional office in Freetown and the entire membership of the country. He worked for New Apostolic Church Regional office, West Africa 1 (Sierra Leone, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire & Liberia) for over twenty years, at 67 Wilkinson Road, Freetown. He served as Account Clerk and Accountant till February 2020, when he was appointed the Regional Supervisor-designate for West Africa 1.

Unfortunately, he fell sick from March, during the lock down and became worst in June. He was taken to Koidu (home town), Kono district for further treatment, where he finally gave up his soul.
The body has been brought to Freetown and preparation is going on for funeral service, schedule for the 9th of August 2020 at Lumley Congregation, Freetown.

This difficult period of Priest Nyandemoh’s departure met with different frustrating feelings/emotions as expressed on church what-Sapp fora:
- Rest in peace! We shall miss you!! Nothing we can do but to pray and recommend your soul to be cherished by Jesus for eternal glory. May God console the family and church;
- Oh how sad! Any cause of death? Just unbelievable! May his soul  rest in perpetual peace - RIPP;
- Oh my Priest, return peacefully to your maker for all is vanity. Rest in peace!
- I am so sad and I am mourning. No one can understand this… We are so depressed unbelievable… tears of sadness in our eyes. Oh our Almighty God, give him peace, assist his children and console his beloved wife etc.

The family and church are determined to accord him a befitting burial. He died so young, at 47 years. May his soul rest in peace, Amen!
