At the alter - the coffin, Apostle Kargbo and church Ministers
11 November 2020

Community Evangelist Alexandra Aiah Kaiwa was laid to rest at 63.

The funeral service of the late Evangelist Kaiwa was conducted by Apostle Thaimu Kargbo, on the 11th October 2020, at Central Church of Koidu, Kono district, East of Sierra Leone, in the afternoon.

The Evangelist served in the central congregation for a very long time. He was a teacher, lecturer and proprietor of Benevolence Primary and Junior Secondary school in Koidu city.

The text was out of Revelation 14:13 ‘Then I heared a voice from heaven saying to me, ‘Write: ‘blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on’
‘Yes,’ says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.’

Apostle Kargbo admonished all to work hard and in the Lord for a blessed return, particularly to take part in the eternal glory of our Lord and God. He was assisted by a long serving Bishop Raymond Essequi.

Tributes were from church and family member, representative from the Freetown Polytechnic, Koidu/Kono Branch and the principal of his school.

Church members, students/pupils, parents, relatives, friends and other mourners about 800 attended the burial service.

It is a blessed end when one labors in the vineyard of the Lord.
