The New Church of Kasonpaign dedication on 28th February, 2021
Ap. Sesay Sanpha dedicated a newly built church at Kasonpaign village, eleven miles to Kabala Town, Koinadugu district, north of Sierra Leone.
While cutting the tape at the entrance of the church before the service commenced, Ap. Sesay dedicated the church in the triune name of God, then the members entered the church for divine service, at 12:31pm.
Apostle Sesay read the word of God from Ephesians 2:19-22 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
In his elaboration Apostle explained the relevance of the good work of God in His house and his people. He admonished the congregation to take good care of the church and the work of God seriously for the imminent return of Christ.
He then invited Community Evangelist Turay John James to assist him; he inclined on the same point; congregation must be strong and spiritually minded in the Lord’s work and His return.
In collusion, Ap. Sesay thanked the congregation and contractor, Brother John Kalokoh for putting their efforts together in building church.
Priest Kondowuleh Conteh, the rector of the congregation was given the responsibility to lead the members to the salvation of Jesus Christ. The Keys of the church were therefore handed over to him to shepherd the congregation with the blessing of the Apostle.
Joyous local songs in Limba were sung in celebration at the end of the service, with an attendance of 200 members, followed by refreshment.
What a wonderful dedication!!!!
